The Camp Program
The CAMP (Children's) Program is specifically directed at subsidizing or paying in full camp fees for children in care of Family & Children's Services of Guelph and Wellington County.
During the summer of 2007, we sent 429 children across Wellington County to various camps & recreational swim programs. For many of these children, it was their only opportunity to "be a kid", meet new friends and experience activities that they might never get the chance to enjoy.
The children are allowed to choose the camp of their choice. We send them to sports camps, music camps, riding camps. overnight camps including canoe trips & more.
