Where Does my $ Go?
No one else helps children in Guelph and Wellington like the Children’s Foundation. Each year, hundreds of children rely on the Foundation to help them experience a part of childhood that many of us take for granted. But the reality is that the need is far greater then the Foundation can meet. Thousands of children in Guelph and Wellington County need the benefits of the programs that only the Foundation funds. Many groups that provide direct services to children such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters rely on the Children’s Foundation to help further enrich the lives of children in their programs.
Every child helped is part of the Guelph and Wellington community. Each dollar raised goes to helping a child in the Guelph & Wellington community.
The approach of the Foundation is to allow children and their families to choose the program they wish to access. The role of the Foundation is to help provide the means so that the child can take part. This means that children are able to go to a diverse number of programs and be in these programs with other children, many of who do not have similar backgrounds. This fact, it is believed by the Foundation, helps to further enrich the experience.
